My First Post: How I Set Up My Blog as an ICT Assignment

Introduction I set up this blog as part of my ICT course assignment in semester 3. The task was to create and maintain a blog documenting my university work. I chose Blogger because it was free and straightforward to use. The whole setup took a few hours, and I learned more about how blogging platforms work than I expected. Introduction In my Introduction to Business Finance course this semester, we had to analyze a company's financial statements and calculate ratios. I thought I understood how to do it in class, but when I started the assignment, I made several mistakes. I calculated the ratios correctly, but interpreted them incorrectly. Introduction In my Financial Accounting class in semester 2, I learned the accounting cycle. This is the process that takes every business transaction from the day it happens, all the way to the financial statements you see at the end. I thought accounting was just calculating numbers, but it's actually a system with clear steps. Understanding the cycle helped me see why businesses keep records the way they do. Background The accounting cycle has eight steps. First, we analyze transactions.
